WorkForce One Employment Solutions (WF1) invites qualified providers skilled in delivering services to economically disadvantaged youth aged 16 to 21 to apply for funds under this Request for Proposals (RFP). The objective of the funds is to (1) help economically disadvantaged youth with barriers graduate high school and go on to post secondary school or employment and (2) to help out-of-school youth who are basic skills deficient, unskilled and/or unemployed get the assistance they need to overcome these barriers and get employment.
RFP responses must be received by March 17, 2010, 4:30 p.m., after which date WF1 will not accept additional proposals.
A Proposers' conference is scheduled for February 17, 2010 at 10:00 AM to review the RFP package and process. The meeting will last approximately one and a half to two hours. The meeting will be held in the WF1 1st Floor Conference Room located at 6301 NW 5th Way, Suite 3000, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33309.
Questions arising at the proposer's conference will be posted on the WF1 website. All other questions should be transmitted to WF1 as instructed on the website. All questions must be submitted by March 12, 2010. WF1 will post the responses to its website. The responsibility to access this information is with the Proposer. |
