Employer Training Grants
- On-the-Job Training for NEW EMPLOYEES - On-the-Job (OJT) training is designed to provide occupational training in your work environment and to your specifications. Through this service, companies can be reimbursed up to 50% of the wages paid to a training participant (maximum salary reimbursements are $3,500 for salaries up to $17.74 per hour and $5,500 for salaries of $17.75 per hour or higher). - Employed Worker Training for EXISTING EMPLOYEES - The goal of this locally funded program is to upgrade the skills of your existing employees for the purpose of advancing their wages and positions, and to assist employees in retaining jobs that provide self-sufficient employment. - Incumbent Worker Training for EXISTING EMPLOYEES - This program provides grant funding for customized training for existing for-profit businesses. Through this customer-driven program, Florida is able to effectively retain and keep businesses competitive through upgrade skills training for existing full-time employees.
