- GovernmentBids.com opened its site July 1, 1998 to assist other small business owners seeking to win state and local procurement opportunities. Based in Atlanta, Georgia, GovernmentBids.com is now a leading online government bid and RFP listing services. The site currently has listings from local, state and federal agencies.
