On-the-Job Training for NEW EMPLOYEES
-
On-the-Job (OJT) training is designed to provide occupational training in your work environment and to your specifications. Through this service, companies can be
reimbursed up to 50%
of the
wages
paid
to a training
participant
(maximum salary reimbursements are $3,500 for salaries up to $17.74 per hour and $5,500 for salaries of $17.75 per hour or higher).

Employed Worker Training for EXISTING EMPLOYEES

advancing

wages

positions

assist employees
in
retaining jobs
that provide
self-sufficient employment

. Through this customer-driven program, Florida is able to effectively retain and keep businesses competitive through upgrade skills training for existing full-time employees. Workforce Florida, Inc. administers the program. For more details about this program, click

Customized Training
- This program is designed for
six or more new employees
who
need to learn the same skills
. Candidates are referred to you for selection, based on your hiring profile. Trainees become your employees after
successful completion of the training program
. This unique, comprehensive service is provided at no-cost to the employer and is customized to the needs of the business.
